Dark or Light

It’s the night before

A major change is about to take place

I’m pretty calm about the event but

Unsure of what will transpire

I know there will be pain to endure

To get healing

My mind accepting of this change 

Time will be what tells me

About the journey

So desperate for success

In many unknown ways

The difficulty that’s been encountered along the way

Has been hard

But new and interesting 

Trying to find understanding 

But is that really it?
